We’ll play in Tübingen this saturday. This is our last regular show before our farewell show sometime in the first half of 2013. We hope we’ll see a lot of you people there. Looking forward!

Liebe Freunde, wir haben schlechte Nachrichten: aufgrund neuer Lebenssituationen werden wir das Kapitel ARKTIKA in absehbarer Zukunft schliessen. Diese Entscheidung fiel uns nicht leicht und schmerzt uns auch sehr, aber Leben bedeutet nunmal auch Bewegung. Diese Band bedeutet uns extrem viel, ebenso unsere Freundschaft untereinander. Wir sind aber leider an einem Punkt angelangt, an dem weitere Kompromisse unseren eigenen Ansprüchen und Vorstellungen nicht mehr gerecht werden würden. Bevor der letzte Vorhang in 2013 fallen wird, werdet ihr aber noch von uns hören – dies ist also nicht das letzte Lebenszeichen von uns. Die beiden ausstehenden Konzerte in diesem Jahr (Solingen und Tübingen) spielen wir selbstverständlich und freuen uns auch sehr darauf. Und: Jedes Ende bietet ja auch die Chance für etwas Neues… Love – Arktika

This band meant and still means a lot to us, but certain circumstances make it impossible for us to continue as we want to. Do not mistake us: we are still best friends and still love making music. Until the final curtain drops in 2013, you will definitivly hear from us again – promised! So this is not our last message. And every end may be the beginning of something new… Love – Arktika
